There's a version of St. Therese of Lisieux's life that just talks about her happiness in the convent and her understanding of "the little way" to holiness. But early in her life, Therese suffered greatly, experiencing loss and anxiety while bullied in school. Her struggles then, and the invasion of grace in her life in a profound way one Christmas Eve, is what led her to this little way to holiness, and Katie tells the story of her personal patron, St. Therese of Lisieux, on today's show.
